Things I love

I am in such a good mood today, its Saturday.....that's why.....and I have been thinking of the little things that I love.
  • Sleeping in
  • Leaving the window open at night and the room being FREEZING when you wake up, an even better reason to stay in bed.
  • My puppies
  • My husband's phone calls at night
  • Diet Dr. Pepper
  • Sex and the City Moive
  • Red Box
  • The smell of fresh laundry
  • Getting my People magazine in the mail
  • Wal-Greens 1 hour photo
  • Pedi-Egg
  • Texting.....might be new to it, but I LOVE it!
  • All the windows being open in the house and the fresh air.
  • Internet
  • Old Navy.com
  • Not having to cook dinner tonight....leftovers for this girl! :)
  • I get to sleep in again tomorrow!
  • NO school on Friday!
  • Being caught up on paying bills
  • Denver Broncos

So my list is simple, but it works for me!

Catching up

I cannot believe how fast time is going! The last time I looked it was August and now September is almost over! I have been so busy at school and we were able to take a nice little vacation for Josh's birthday to Seattle. He is a hardcore Seahawks fan and has never been able to see them play at home. I was a great time and talk about a nice field! I am Denver Broncos all the way, but that field is so nice and so full of crazy fans that it could make a person like the Seahawks.....

While we were there we had the chance to meet up with some great friends of mine. They have been huge parts of my life since I was in 6th grade (only a few years ago!) and moved from Sidney when I was a sophomore is college and we have then not seen each other in almost 8 years! The twins were 6 months when I meet them and babysat/ lived with them for 6 years after that. To see them so grown up is exciting but so crazy to me! Joyce, their mom, was an amazing lady to grow up around. Talk about a sweet, caring, giving person..... They are great people and I am so glad that I know them and we had the chance to meet up.

I decided that we were going to take a cruise sometime soon while we were there. There happened to be three HUGE cruise ships docked while we were there and I was fascinated by them! I am not sure what kind of cruise I want to take, but I am sure Josh already has it planned out and dates set!
And then we did TONS of sight seeing..... I always love to go check things out is new areas. Josh is so good with finding new things that I would like and so we were busy going the whole time. We stayed in one DIVE of a motel....a guy got his car stolen WHILE he was checking in right in front of us...... and then one really cute old hotel downtown. We then walked all over there. We found a cute old restaurant, Dicks, and we got milkshakes, hamburgers, and homemade fries with a grand total of $7.00! Talk about a deal!

Other than that I have been working like CRAZY and sleeping! I was in Denver for school the two days before we left for Seattle so I am SUPER tired! Still trying to get caught up. I did get the house back, for two weeks, so I will be cleaning my little heart out this weekend.....while watching Sex in the City the movie all weekend! I LOVE that movie! Nothing creative but maybe this weekend.....now that I have all of these fun to photos to work with!

A little here

Not much, but it's something creative! I have been so drained when I get home, after 6, that I want to do knowing....but sit in the chair and read or watch TV. It is now the weekend and I am trying to get everything done that I should have done during the week! You know clean the house, take out the garbage, laundry, all the not fun stuff. Makes for a great Saturday! :)
I am going to dinner at a friend's house tonight. Another teacher at the school and her fiance are having me over. I have never met him so I am excited! And to do something with adults! I might have to hit up Achievers while I am in Boise, I need to get some albums.
Josh and I have been working together over the phone and Internet to get a trip to Seattle planned. We knew we wanted to go and when we wanted to go and then my little school trip to Denver happened to fall that same weekend. Turns out I will get back at around 4:30 on Saturday so we got trips to fly out at 7:30 that night and then stay through Monday night. Josh is a huge Seahawks fan and they are playing at home, on his birthday.....we just couldn't pass that up! :) We did get our tickets on a huge sale and they were $100 round trip each! I am getting excited!
